1. What is a certified translation?

A certified translation includes a signed statement of accuracy from the translator, confirming the translation is a true and complete representation of the original document. It's typically required for official purposes such as immigration, legal proceedings, or academic applications. We offer certified translation for Canada and the UK.

2. How is the price calculated?

We offer two pricing models depending on the service: per page (ideal for standard documents like certificates or IDs) and per 100 words (better suited for longer texts like contracts or reports). The applicable model is shown on each product page.

3. Does the price change based on how fast I need it?

Yes. Standard delivery (72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays) is included in the base price. If you need your translation urgently, a priority option (24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays) is available for a price markup of about 20%. 

4. Do you offer discounts?

You can enjoy a 10% off for orders with more than two pages or 2,000 words. Please feel free to contact us for our Key Account discount of 20% off. We also offer special promotions and discounts from time to time for special occasions. Please follow us to get the latest promotions and discounts.

5. Can I get a quote before ordering?

Yes. Please send an email to hello@doctranslate.com.co with your document details (page count or word count, and deadline), and we'll provide a quote promptly.

6. Do you offer physical copies?

Yes. Digital delivery is standard and included in all orders. Physical copies can be added for an additional shipping fee and will be shipped to your address.

7. What is your refund policy?

We do not offer full refunds once work on certified translations has started, as these are custom digital services. You may cancel before work begins for a full refund. After delivery, orders are non-refundable, but we provide free revisions within 5 business days for quality issues.
